Abergreen: A Social Laboratory at Peacock Arts in Aberdeen

Abergreen: A Social Laboratory” was a three month project I did at the Peacock Gallery in Aberdeen. I created a social space in the gallery where people could investigate the built environment through readings, video games, videos and discussions. I worked with two school groups, one designing play parks and the other redesigning a local skate park. I also did a project working with first year students at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and created an installation for their revues to take place in. There were lectures by playground designers and environmental psychologists as well as weekly reading sessions over the course of the three months in the space. A series of banners were also created and displayed throughout the city.
