Eco-nomia, part of BIG Torino (Biennale Internazionale Arte Giovane)

Eco-nomia – This project was done for the Biennale of Young Art in Turin. The work uses a common ecologists strategy for research, like “Agri-culture”, of asking consumers and farmers in the local area about their feelings on GM food, intensive farming and organic food. The results of the research were then made into a booklet for the audience to take. The wall-based work also comes from a biodiversity centre on the outskirts of the city. To accompany the work there was also a forum with specialists discussing their practices in the context of food production.
