“Past Relations” was a performative project done with my students at Oxford Brookes for an exhibition they had organised. The idea was to get students to imagine themselves in conversation with figures from the past and present they would like to be in conversation with. So each participant would choose a photograph from my bank of photos and pose in front of the green screen and then I would superimpose them into the photograph. Each participant would then receive the doctored photograph.
